uINT is a KPI Option that will pay out based on the number of integrations that UMA achieves until expiry on December 30, 2021.

An integration will have been achieved when a DAO funds with tokens one of the following four product categories:
- KPI options
- Call/Put options
- Range Bonds
- Success Tokens

These products were selected as they are the team’s strategic focus for this quarter, and we want to ensure alignment between the UMA core team and the Super Umans.

These tokens will pay out 100 $UMA tokens per integration, per 1,000 uINT. For any integration that is funded with more than $5M USD worth of tokens, uINT will pay out an additional 200 $UMA tokens.

The formula for this payout is as follows: each Success Token is redeemable for 1 ACX + MAX((ACX price - $0.50) / ACX price, 0) ACX. For example, if at expiry 1 ACX is worth $0.50 USD or less, each Success Token will be redeemable for exactly 1 ACX Token. If 10,000 retweets are made, the contract will settle for 1 USDC. If less than 10,000 retweets are made, the collateral will settle based on the number of retweets between 0 and 10,000.

That means this token will pay out a fixed dollar amount ($1,000) of SUSHI at expiry provided the contract the price of SUSHI is greater than or equal to $5.

Each SUSHIsBOND is set to hold 200 SUSHI. If the price of SUSHI is $5 or greater it will payout a fixed dollar amount of $1,000. If the price of SUSHI is below $5, the tokenholder receives 200 SUSHI (at the price SUSHI is trading at worth). This looks like a Range token where the bottom of the Range is $5, but unlike the Range token design, SUSHIsBOND has no upper Range (or “call option”) that pays out additional upside if Sushi rallies.

In an effort to encourage positive rebases of BadgerDAO’s DIGG token, BagerDAO has launched “Rebase Mining” using UMA’s KPI Options.

# About DROPT-1

BadgerDAO is partnering with UMA on the next evolution of incentive mining in DeFi. Liquidity Mining has become ubiquitous in DeFi and with the release of their KPI options UMA broke new ground with TVL mining. BadgerDAO is extending this model in collaboration with UMA to launch Rebase Mining.

Rebasing mining is an action oriented way for users to earn DIGG rewards instead of just providing liquidity. The volume of rewards are distributed based on the number of positive rebases DIGG experiences in a given 30 day span (when DIGG is higher than the price of Bitcoin). The more positive rebases the more rewards earned and each additional day increases the % of rewards distributed. This incentive model should align DIGG holders to take action to ensure DIGG has as many positive rebases as possible.

This is the first iteration but we are optimistic that leveraging Rebase Mining on a continuous basis can be the external factor necessary to enhance the underlying rebase mechanics in the DIGG token. It can be the ongoing incentive necessary to address the lack of interest for users to buy rebasing tokens once they are 15–30% below peg.

## How does it work? 

BadgerDAO will be using UMA to mint 30 day duration DIGG Rebase options (standard ERC20 tokens) that will be redeemable at maturity for a portion of a rewards pool which will be funded from the BadgerDAO treasury. The intention is to have a rewards pool of 50–100 DIGG (an elastic supply cryptocurrency pegged to the price of Bitcoin and governed by Badger DAO) for users to earn in the first month.

These options launched on May 7th and matured on June 7th 2021.There must be a minimum of 5 positive rebases in that month for the options to mature for any rewards. The rewards then increase every additional positive rebase to a maximum of 30 days which pays out 100% of the rewards pool. A 1.5 power will be applied to redemption value which means that each positive rebase will increase redemption value at a rate higher than the last one.

Protected token pairs use the UMA LSP contract to wrap any ERC20 asset and create protected and recovery tokens. The protected tokens are put in a specified wallet address or smart contract system and the recovery tokens are held in a secure wallet elsewhere and can be used to recover the underlying asset in the event of a hack, bug, or other cause of lost funds. Recipients of rewards through this program will also receive 1:1 matching recovery tokens from Risk Labs so that they can redeem the protected/recovery token pair for the underlying UMA without waiting for contract expiry.

Other UMA holders are encouraged to mint protected token pairs and add additional funding to the Hats vault to increase funding for whitehat hackers who identify risks in the UMA and Across protocols, and should remember to deposit the protected tokens in the vault while keeping their recovery tokens in a secure wallet.
